Plant Nursery
A single plant picked with care can provide many uses and benefits ranging from it being a nitrogen fixer, a shade provider, a windbreak, a pollinator attractor, a flash of colour, a weed competitor, a food provider or a nesting site. Permaculture teaches you how to look at all aspects of a plant within its environment. We at Wa Samaki Ecosystems are constantly learning of new uses to both food and landscaping plants. Visit our nursery, learn about what we know and share with us information that we may not have. We currently have a large collection of heliconias, gingers and torches, decorative bananas, colourful foliages, water lilies, and other aquatic and semiaquatic plants and will shortly be carrying fruit and timber seedlings and saplings.
Tropical Fish
Fish must always be an integral part of any aquatic landscape or ecosystem. We breed and grow out a variety of fish including koi, goldfish, African cichlids, catfish, fancy guppies and others.
